The TRUTH is in the BODY

When it comes to learning about yourself your body provides information that your brain may or may not know. This is why holistic therapy —body, mind, spirit, and emotion is a welcome and helpful addition to the mental health field.

THE BODY COMMUNICATES INFORMATION

The body reveals one’s ability to succeed, to make decisions, to be in healthy relationships, and to connect to reality.

Meanings can be found by deciphering the messages in:

  • Body posture and the spine
  • Secondary sexual characteristics
  • Body armor
  • Harmony between body parts or its lack
  • Nuances: blinks, face muscles, body hair, skin color
  • Energy blocks and leaks
  • Chakras and the aura
  • The seven segments of the body
  • Character structures

Here are some examples of how the body communicates.

Described below are Two Subtypes of the Rigid Character Structure

Phallic Narcissistic Male: His body has a lot of harmony and grace. Athletic. Broad shoulders top narrower hips and pelvis. He received love as a baby, then the love was withheld or repressed. Mother opened her heart and then shut it down. In response when the boy grows up he’s contemptuous of women and doesn’t want to give them anything. He takes revenge and has affairs.

Masculine Aggressive Woman: Her body has harmony and grace, but a narrower chest and wider pelvis. Her spine is strong. Her posture straight. The father is straightlaced and shuts down her sexuality. She has a very active upper body, which is creative, assertive, and productive. She wants to gain his affection. Her belly and pelvis are passive. There is a split between her heart and her pelvis

Energy: Energy, where it gets stuck in the body and where it flows, tells a lot about a person. Here is a description of a person with Overcharged Energy

Overcharged energy person: Solid body fat and/or muscle; Shorter neck; As a child his/her curiosity was shut down, lacked freedom to explore her world and find out who she is, under parent’s thumb. Thus, children hold their energy back and in. They suppress their authentic selves. Anger leaks out – of the passive aggressive type. They are people-pleasers.

Parts of the body carry meaning:

The eyes: Children who are frightened, squeeze their eye muscles and the eye elongates. Myopia is the result of fear. Farsightedness is caused by a contraction of the eye, front and back. It reflects insecurity. The person wants to look, look, and look some more. Wants to see ahead, to know in advance what will occur. The image occurs in the front of the retina, not on the retina. When the eyeball protrudes or bulges outward, the thyroid could be hyperactive. People who don’t look at you have been wounded at an early stage of life or been subjected to trauma.

The Gut: When people don’t cry, feelings go into the gut (belly) and get stuck there. The left side is crying.

The face: The face may be different between the left and the right. The right is the more aggressive side. The right eye may open wider. If the forehead is flat, frozen, no wrinkles, the person lacks energy, may be frozen in some way.
