Seduction, Betrayal And Upper Body Energy

If you been seduced and betrayed, you will not trust others, even those closest to you. Seduction and betrayal mean that a child is first built up by the parent, and then knocked down. Told you are wonderful, a little prince or princess, you then receive criticism that makes you feel worthless. The body shows this type of wound because the energy moves up away from the ground, and remains at the top of the body, blocked in the head, neck or shoulders. When your energy gets stuck in the upper body, you will attempt to control and manipulate others to achieve your goals.

I saw the seduction/betrayal wound in Ellen when she turned around. Her will center, which sits in the center of her upper back between her shoulder blades, signaled overdevelopment. Several layers of body fat covered her large, wide shoulders. Therefore, Ellen would use her will to make other people do her bidding. On the positive side, upper body energy indicates courage and leadership abilities.

I also noticed that Ellen’s energy came up her spine, over her shoulders, and over the top of her head, flying toward me as if to grab me. Strong energy moving toward other people seeks to exert power over them. People who carry this wound fear being mistreated. Because they can’t trust anyone, they try to control everyone and everything.

I asked Ellen if one of her parents had a cruel streak. She answered,“My father was someone I loved and admired. When he was good, he was wonderful. But he could be very cruel, and I remember being frightened of him. Once he pulled me out of bed, he was so angry, I don’t remember why, it was some little thing, but I was so frightened, I wet my pants. He betrayed my trust, and at that time I stopped believing in him. He left when I was 14.”

To learn to trust, Ellen needs to move her energy down toward her feet, away from her head and shoulders. She needs to experience an energy flow through her entire body. The first step requires releasing energy and feeling it flow. Hitting, kicking, punching, running in place, and jumping, followed by many grounding exercises.
